WITH THE RECENT DEATHS OF SENSATIONAL SHERRI MARTEL, NANCY BENOIT AKA WOMAN, AND CHRIS BENOIT, FANS AROUND THE WORLD HAVE BEEN WANTING TO KNOW RIC FLAIR'S OPINION ON SOME OF THESE TRAGEDIES OF PEOPLE THAT AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER WAS VERY CLOSE TO HIM. SO HERE WE HAVE SOME EXCLUSIVE COMMENTS FROM RIC FLAIR ON THESE THREE PEOPLE AND HERE THEY ARE.
ON SHERRI MARTEL
She did a lot for our business," Flair said, "She was very unselfish. She was a very special person."
ON CHRIS BENOIT
It was time for Raw and they let the crowd go. There's nobody here," said 16-time world champ Ric Flair. "It was the right thing to do. The McMahons are devastated as a family." "Chris was one of the nicest, hardest-working, most legitimate, honest people I've ever met in my life," a distraught Flair added, "Everybody liked Chris."
ON NANCY BENOIT AKA WOMAN
"I loved Nancy," said Flair. You know how much fun I had with her when she was Kevin's (Sullivan) wife for all those years. I'm in shock about Nancy. The only reason I didn't talk on the (Raw) show that Monday night is because I thought they needed to talk as much about Nancy as they did Chris. Of all the girls I ever worked with, Nancy was my favorite. I saw on Fox where it said she was the manager of world champion Ric Flair, but she was more than that. She was a wonderful and very entertaining person in our business."
